Coca-Cola TREK Festival Truck
collaboration with Containr Affairs
Food Truck Festivals TREK | the Netherlands
Having a deep understanding of the concept of the food truck and its evolution through time, Containr Affairs was appointed by Coca-Cola to design a Coca-Cola truck activation for the nine editions of the 2016 Food Truck Festival TREK, taking place all around the Netherlands.
The project consists of three main parts. The truck, the seats and the bar menus.
The truck works as a backdrop of the seat area. Both its concept and design are based on the trucks that were delivering Coca-Cola bottles in the Netherlands in the 50's. A picture of such a truck can be seen on the canvas on the back side of the truck.
The seats, modular and re-arrangeable, are placed in front of the truck and work as a chill-out area, where the guests can hang out and enjoy the goodies TREK Festivals have to offer. The "hero", a storytelling element that is, is placed among the seats. It is an authentic vintage 6 bottle aluminium carrier resting in a plexiglass box, which in turn incorporates a short history of the food truck tradition.
Last but not least, the third part of this project included the branding of the A4 clipboards and the design of A1 menu boards, placed at the festival's bar tents.
Containr Affairs' creative team delivered a solid concept, while its production team made the most out of a rather tight budget. Christos Efthymoudis All-Around Creativity was navigating between design and production, in order to deliver this beautiful concept to life. The work done, during this wonderful collaboration, included 3D design for presentations and construction, construction drawings and details, graphic design and contact with various suppliers.
This project was built by Floris Zegwaard.
